A small publication about daily routines, simple recipes, and the habits people build around their mornings.
nospikes started from a simple observation: most of what people actually change about their day is small. A different order of doing things. Something prepared the same way each morning. A few minutes set aside before everything else begins.
We write about those small things — morning recipes, daily routines, the habits people keep and the ones they drop. We try to describe them honestly, without dressing them up as more than they are.
Some of what appears on this site is sponsored. When it is, we say so clearly, in plain language, at the top of the page. We would rather tell you upfront than have you find out later.
Most of what we publish is about the first hour of the day. Morning recipes people have shared with us. Routines that survived past the first week. The unremarkable, repeatable things that make up an ordinary morning.
We also cover products from time to time — usually as sponsored features, always marked. When a company pays to be featured here, the label says so and the disclosure sits at the top of the page, not buried in the footer.
What we do not do is tell you that something will change your life. We will describe what it is, who makes it, and what it costs. The rest is yours to weigh.
